• Try looking up "share values" on , then on a directory like Yahoo
• Note the number of pages returned. Some useful links will be listed at the top of the page.
• Refine your search - try looking up "uk shares",
• Share values are listed using symbols e.g.

  • Bank of Ireland is BKIR
  • Vodafone is VOD
  • Shoprite is SHO
  • Find the symbol for British Telecom

• Go to and follow the instructions for signing up
• agree to everything - for to-night at least
• don't worry if your chosen name is not available - Hotmail will make suggestions
• For safety sake don't use full names for children.

Note the above - if you want to go on using your Hotmail address, it has to be kept active.
